I work to define the solutions based on synthesizing seemingly disparate requests into reproducible patterns and delivering strategic architectures for the IBM Federal CTO. My focus is on user design, user interaction, and social software for information sharing. I came from the early days of Lotus and have moved through development and architecture for many of the products including WebSphere Portal, Active Insight, and Lotus Enterprise Integrator. I've had the opportunity of working in multiple international assignments around the globe. I also maintain a personal blog and keep active with various open source projects, primarily with PHP. |

This means I largely focus on the Lotus product suite, although I have a strong cross-brand background from my previous positions. Prior to my current role, I worked in Software Group's Government Solution Center, a briefing center for US Federal customers. I also spent three years in IBM Global Services, where I implementing a number of government and corporate projects. |
![]() Name: Tim Pavlick Bio: I am IBM’s lead architect for the U.S. Department of Defense responsible for developing service-specific architectures (to include SOA) as well as a DoD-wide architecture. I am a specialist in Hybrid Real Time / Non-Real Time enterprise architectures. Prior to assuming my current position, I served as engagement manager on the Naval Open Architecture project which defined the parameters of what constitutes open business models & open technology models for Naval mission systems. Since 2006 the Naval Open Architecture project has received direct attention & sponsorship from the Chief of Naval Operations. |
